This is an actual model of the ones which operated on some narrow gauge railways - in fact, one version is still at the Statfold Railway.
The body and chassis are made out of wood - just lke the real thing.
The light housing is mainly 3D printed and it really works!
The kit is easy to make. The wiring has all been done for you (both in the kit and in the finished version). All you need to do is add three AAA baterries. Everything else is inluded (apart from paint and glue).
The finished version is ready to run. Simply add batteries (I can't post them with Royal Mail).
The light can be rotated or turned up and down.
The wagon is re-gaugeable. The wheels simply push out for 45mm or in for 32mm.
