Made from wood with real glass windows, this freelance balcony bogie coach is a sturdy design which looks perfect behind a 16mm loco - although it was specifically made to go behind our Railcar.
The coach body is 138mm high, not including the few millimetres for the ventilator, and 101mm wide in the body, 113mm including the steps. This balcony coach version is 368mm long in the body, 400mm including couplings.
Like our other coaches, the roof is removable (it’s a very tight fit, not intended to be removed every day).
Minimum radius is 2’6”.

Available as either a kit or as a finished model.
Kit: Not too hard to make, with easy to follow illustrated instructions. Pre-cut real glass is used for the windows, so this kit isn’t suitable for children due to the sharp edges.
Pre-Made: Available in either maroon or green (both have cream panels).
The colours of every coach exactly matches the other coaches in the range (eg the satin finish maroon is identical to all the other coaches and railcars).
Supplied as 32mm / 45mm gauge, the wheels can easily be re-gauged to your railway.
The other Timpdon Coaches and Railcars are of very similar design, intended to make a uniformed train.
